Queer Art History

Queer Art History

Queer Art History is a visual history and educational resource for queer art and culture. This resource is intended to educate and empower LGBTQIA+ folks and allies through sharing our rich histories that extend before and beyond modern Queer Rights movements.

On August 8, 2018 QueerArtHistory.com creator Casey Hoke lost his battle with mental illness. Casey was passionate about the site and created it as a service project for Point Foundation. Donations in Casey’s memory can be made to Point Foundation.

Point Foundation is the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ students of merit. Point promotes change through scholarship funding, mentorship, leadership development, and community service training.
